The Member of Parliament for Asunafo South and Minister for Food and Agriculture, Hon. Eric Opoku, has cut the sod for the construction of a modern car park at Sankore to improve transportation, traffic management, and commercial activities in the area.
As part of the event, Hon. Opoku donated six brand-new pick-up vehicles to the Asunafo South Health Directorate to strengthen healthcare delivery, emergency response, and health outreach services across the district. The vehicles have been assigned to selected health facilities to improve access to quality healthcare, particularly in underserved communities.
The Asunafo South District Assembly commended the initiative, describing it as a significant contribution to the district’s infrastructure and healthcare system, and reaffirmed its commitment to working with stakeholders to advance sustainable development
