On Wednesday the 5th of August 2026, the District Chief Executive led a team of officers and development partner Project Maji to commission a prepaid water system for the people of Asempanaye in the Asunafo South District.
This milestone is in fulfilment of the Assembly’s vision of ensuring clean and accessible water services for all by 2030.
The DCE in his address reiterated the Assembly’s continued commitment towards investments into water and sanitation interventions and remarked that the Assembly under his watch has seen over 25 potable water interventions spread at various locations in barely one year of assuming office. He extended his utmost grattitude to the community members for their support and entreated them to uphold unity when it comes to the subject of development
