PATRIOTISM ON DISPLAY AS ASUNAFO SOUTH MARKS INDEPENDENCE DAY AT KUKUOM ASTRO TURF

The Asunafo South District Assembly joined the rest of the nation to commemorate the 69th Independence Day of Ghana at the Kukuom Astro Turf, bringing together government officials, education authorities, traditional leaders, and members of the community to celebrate the country’s freedom and progress.

The colorful ceremony was attended by several distinguished dignitaries including the District Coordinating Director, the District Director of Education, heads of departments, teachers, students, and other key stakeholders within the district. The event featured marching displays by school children and cultural presentations, reflecting the patriotic spirit and unity of the people.

Addressing the gathering, the District Chief Executive, Benjamin Yinkah, delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the significance of Ghana’s independence. He reflected on the sacrifices and determination of the nation’s forefathers whose efforts led to the attainment of independence.

Hon. Benjamin Yinkah emphasized that the celebration serves as a reminder of the responsibility of every citizen to contribute towards national development.
