Last Sunday 20 September,2025 Hon. Benjamin Yinkah, DCE (Asunafo South), attended a gala competition at Sankore, leading a delegation comprising Assembly Members from Sankore South and Sankore North, including Hon. Abubakar and Hon. Ramsey. He represented Hon. Dr. Eric Opoku, MP and Minister for Food and Agriculture, demonstrating his commitment to the youth in Sankore.
During the event, Hon. Benjamin Yinkah expressed delight at the talents on display and the eagerness of the youth to shine. He assured them that he would collaborate with Hon. Dr. Eric Opoku to support their development, recognizing that not all talents lie in academics or office work. Some have unique gifts that deserve nurturing, and together, they would work to provide opportunities for these talents to flourish.
Hon. Yinkah emphasized that the MP’s office is committed to supporting the youth, particularly in developing their talents. He announced plans to organize a bigger gala competition in Asunafo South by December ending, aimed at identifying and nurturing football talents.
As a token of support, Hon. Benjamin Yinkah, on behalf of Hon. Dr. Eric Opoku, donated jerseys and balls to the competition, underscoring the MP’s commitment to empowering the youth. Hon. Yinkah assured the youth that they can count on Hon. Dr. Eric Opoku’s support, highlighting the MP’s passion for youth development and his dedication to helping young people excel in sports and other areas.
