The Asunafo South District Assembly, in collaboration with the Office of the Head of Local Government Service (OHLGS) and the National Information Technology Agency (NITA), successfully organized a one-day training workshop on the Government of Ghana’s Smart Workplace™ platform on Wednesday, 3rd September 2025.
The workshop was designed to equip staff with the requisite knowledge and practical skills to effectively adopt and utilize the Smart Workplace™ system. The training emphasized the platform’s role in enhancing institutional efficiency, promoting accountability, and improving overall service delivery within the Assembly.
Participants engaged in hands-on sessions led by experienced facilitators from NITA, covering key modules such as document management, virtual collaboration tools, secure communication, and digital workflow integration.
This initiative reflects the Assembly’s ongoing commitment to digital transformation and capacity building, in line with the Government of Ghana’s broader agenda to modernize public sector operations through technology-driven solutions.
