ASUNAFO SOUTH DISTRICT ASSEMBLY IN COLLABORATION WITH NOBERKAW TRADITIONAL COUNCIL (MEFIRI NOBERKAW SANITATION DAY – CLEAN-UP EXERCISE)

On Tuesday, 17th June 2025, the Asunafo South District Assembly, in collaboration with the Noberkaw Traditional Council, successfully organized a massive community clean-up exercise under the theme “Mefiri Noberkaw Sanitation Day.”

The event commenced promptly at 7:00 AM with a courtesy visit by the Honourable District Chief Executive, Benjamin Yinkah, to the Noberkaw Traditional Council. Following the visit, the DCE led the clean-up exercise alongside key stakeholders including:

Ghana National Fire Service
Regional and District NADMO Officers
Ghana Police Service
Members of the community

The clean-up exercise focused on the entire Noberkaw township, with special attention given to the “baller” area, which was thoroughly cleaned using a drip machine
