OPENING PRAYER
The General Assembly Meeting of the Asunafo South District Assembly was duly convened on Tuesday, 4th November 2025, at the District Assembly Hall, Kukuom. The meeting commenced at 10:00 a.m. with an opening prayer.

ATTENDANCE
The meeting was attended by Hon. Assembly Members, Heads of Departments, Traditional Authorities, Representatives of Civil Society Organizations, and other invited stakeholders. Apologies were received from members who were unavoidably absent.
ADOPTION OF AGENDA
The agenda for the meeting was presented and unanimously adopted by the House.

CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES
The minutes of the previous General Assembly Meeting were read, reviewed, and confirmed as a true reflection of proceedings, subject to minor corrections.

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE REPORT
The District Coordinating Director presented the Executive Committee’s report, highlighting key decisions taken since the last General Assembly Meeting. Matters discussed included ongoing development projects, administrative challenges, and proposed policy actions.

DISTRICT CHIEF EXECUTIVE’S ADDRESS
The District Chief Executive (DCE) delivered an address to the Assembly, outlining the district’s development priorities, financial performance, and progress on government interventions. The DCE emphasized the need for cooperation among Assembly Members to ensure effective service delivery.

COMMITTEE REPORTS

Reports from the following Sub-Committees were presented and deliberated upon:

Works Sub-Committee
Social Services Sub-Committee
Development Planning Sub-Committee
Finance and Administration Sub-Committee

Members discussed the reports and adopted key recommendations for implementation.

DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS
Updates were provided on ongoing and completed projects across the district, including road rehabilitation, education infrastructure, health facilities, and water and sanitation projects. Challenges affecting project completion were also discussed.

MOTIONS AND RESOLUTIONS
Motions were proposed, seconded, and approved on matters relating to district development, revenue mobilization, and community engagement. Resolutions adopted by the Assembly were duly recorded for action.

ANY OTHER BUSINESS
Members raised concerns affecting their electoral areas, including sanitation, security, and social welfare issues. Relevant departments were tasked to take necessary action.
